J. Daemyon “JD” (Keyboards/Vocals)

JD is a classically trained violinist, composer, keyboardist, music producer and founder of The MotorSOUL Collective. Jerald has appeared with Gladys Knight, Roy Ayers, Bernie Mac, Lenny Williams, Brian McKnight, Rachelle Farrell, legendary jazz vocalists Joe Williams, Nancy Wilson, Angela Winbush, Vesta Williams, Maysa, Silk, Yolanda Adams, Ronny Laws, comedian Michael Colyar, Dee‑Dee Sharp and has been a guest performer numerous times on the nationally syndicated radio program “The Tom Joyner Morning Show.” He is a recognized member of the National Academy of Recording Artists & Sciences, received the 3M Award of Artistic Innovation and numerous other honors for his work with children and community service across the country. His urban contemporary R&B sound was an instant airplay request and commercial sales success achieving international recognition as a chart topping smash on Billboard’s Magazine’s Urban Adult and Contemporary Jazz Charts. His music can be heard on Sirius XM’s, “Heart & Soul” and “Water Colors” and on R&B and Contemporary Jazz stations around the world.

Kevin Levi (Saxophone)

Kevin Levi, known for his Soulful saxophone, holds a Bachelor’s of Music degree from Howard University. He has performed and toured with Chuck Brown, David Sanborn, Kirk Whalum, Phil Perry, Marcus Miller, Peter White, Stacey Lattisaw, SWV, SHAI, and Ashanti. His current CD is “Turn It Upbeing produced by Jerald Daemyon features guitarist Stanley Cooper and Jerald’s piano work extensively.

Anthony “TC” Cunningham (Bass)

TC is a classically trained bassist with a broad range of musical experience that encompasses multiple music genres. He has written and produced for Latin, Jazz, R&B, Hip-Hop, Pop, Alternative and Gospel artists. His musical diversity and depth keeps him in high demand for studio work and live performances. He has accompanied renowned American composer Aaron Copeland, as well as nationally-known R&B artist Toni Braxton, Kelly Price, Freda Payne, Tony Rich, Jazz artists Linda Hopkins, Blues vocalists Johnny Taylor and Francine Reed, and Violinist/Keyboardist Jerald Daemyon. He has engineered recordings for Sony/Epic and Universal.

Stanley Cooper (Guitar)

Stanley Cooper is a Washington D.C. native with performance credits that include the who’s who of R&B, Jazz and Gospel. Professionally known as the first guitarist to call when you perform on the East Coast. His commitment to musical expression has set new standards for the acoustic and electric guitar performance. His soon to be released project “SAY WHAT” was produced and arranges by Jerald Daemyon and features saxophonist Kevin Levi, Flautist Deblon Jackson and R&B vocalist Randy Gill. Stanley has performed with Chuck Brown, Mary Mary, El DeBarge, Leela James Rahsaan Patterson, Joe, Noel Gourdin, Syleena Johnson, Shiela E. (and Pete Escovedo), Frank McComb, Maysa, Raheem DeVaughn, Bilal, Dwele, Howard Hewitt, Glenn Jones, Roy Ayers, Bob Baldwin, Jerald Daemyon, Tom Browne, Brian Culbertson, Marion Meadows, Candy Dulfer, Mindi Abair and Gregg Karukas.

Gwen Foxx (Vocals)

Gwen Foxx a Detroit native is an international music artist and mesmerizing performer with a remarkable vocal range–from the sassy sounds of Sarah Vaughan to the soaring soprano notes of Celine Dion. Her sultry, wispy, dramatic, and powerful vocal style represents a beautiful mix of velvety and jazzy R&B tinged with a Hip-Hop flavor. Gwen has performed with Chaka Kahn, Luther Vandross, KEM, T.D. Jakes, “The Queen of Soul” Aretha Franklin and has opened for Harry Connick Jr., Will Downing, Jerald Daemyon, Brian McKnight, Bob Baldwin, Tom Brown, Marion Meadows, Gerald Albright, Keith Washington and was the vocal director and background vocalist for Mary J. Blige’s “Share My World Tour.

J. Hill (Vocals)

Born and raised in Washington, D.C. J Hill has been performing for family and friends in choirs, music groups around the city and since he was a child. He musical creativity and sound makes the hardest pain easier to bear and the happiest moments more joyful.
His vocal talents redefine soul and pay homage to the great R&B story telling of Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway, Prince, David Ruffin and Stevie Wonder.

Deblon Jackson (Flute)

A native of Detroit and veteran Flautist of The United States Air Force Band received her Bachelors of Music Education from The University of Cincinnati College- Conservatory of Music. She has been a guest artist and performer throughout the United States, Paris, Germany and Italy. Her professional appearances include performances with Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Milt Jackson, Johnny Rodriguez, Marcus Belgrave and Jazz pianist Teddy Harris Jr. Her new project “FLuTopia” set for release in Fall 2017 was written, produced and arranged by Jerald Daemyon and features Jazz guitarist Stanley Cooper and Contemporary Jazz saxophonist Kevin Levi. Deblon is the founder of Classique Productions, which is dedicated to preserving Jazz music among young people in urban communities.

Patricia Lacy (Vocals)

Patricia is a twenty-seven year veteran of the Grammy Award Music Group “The Sounds Blackness” as well as one of the five backup vocalists of the late great Luther Vandross. She’s a Minnesota native and a member of the Minnesota Gospel Twins and has appeared weekly on ”Your Church Of The AIR” on KSTP for twenty-five years and the “Prairie Home Companion Show”. She has worked extensively in musical theater serving as the musical director of The Stepping Stone Theater for its theatrical productions of “Sweet Freedom”, “MLK” and “The Black Snowman”, “Almost To Freedom”, “Henry’s Freedom Box“, “Four Little Girls” and “Ruby Bridges”. Her musical versatility in R&B, Gospel and Jazz make her a highly sought after vocalist and coach.

Ron Otis (Drums)

Ron took interest in the drums at the age of 5 and began his professional career began at age 16 playing in various Jazz clubs around Detroit. He’s currently the drummer for R&B artist KEM and has performed and toured with Aretha Franklin, Bob James, Earl Klugh, The Spinners, Ronnie Laws, SWV, Nancy Wilson and Tyrese, Keith Washington and Wendy Moten. Ron has appeared with numerous artists on Good Morning America, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Jimmy Kimmel Show, David Letterman, and The Steve Harvey Show.

Ed Botts (Keyboards/Vocals)

Edward L. Botts, III, a.k.a. Eddie, is a native of the Washington, D.C. metro area. A self- taught pianist/organist with a natural ear, he continues to perfect his God-given gifts through music production work and live performances around the United States. He has accompanied a variety of national recording artists including Gerald Albright, Eric Roberson, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Byron Cage, Shirley Murdock, Paul Taylor, and Steve Cole.

Ron Spears (Spoken Word)

Spoken Word artist and Detroit native Ron Spears (a.k.a. “Ron the Storyteller”), has taken a non-traditional approach to becoming an artist. Educated with degrees in Physics and Engineering, Ron is not your typical poet but his insight about life, love and relationships has captured hearts and minds all over the world. His debut project “Rise Up” was produced by Jerald Daemyon and features his spoken words over contemporary jazz and house music. “Rise Up” is a poetic salute to beautiful women celebrating every aspect of their inner and outer beauty. Ron’s latest project “MOISTURE” is produced by Jerald Daemyon includes poetic and erotic stories of flirtation, foreplay, love and afterglow. Ask yourself, “Just what exactly is Moisture?” From a woman’s perspective, Moisture is a soft feeling within that brings a calmness, comfort and affection towards the one you admire, love and want to be with.
